Approval of a PV Project Development in Mexico

Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) approved during the Ordinary Session of the Governing Board celebrated on 10th December the electricity generation permit based on the figure of "small producer" for the 30 MW AC PV project requested by the mexican company DELICIAS SOLAR PV, that will be constructed at the end of 2015 in the center area of Chihuahua State.

The Project will consist in 35,19 MW DC power and will be located in a land surface of approximately 50Ha. It will be installed with fixed structure, and foresees the installation of 140.784 solar photovoltaic modules of 250 watts peak each one.

The project will allow the emissions saving of 70.004 CO2 tons annually what represents the avoiding of cutting down more than 280.000 trees and will provide electricity to supply more than 31.000 homes thanks to the energy provided (65,61 GWh per year). The Project is developed by the Company SDC ENERGREEN ALJAVAL jointly with some other developments in Chihuahua State that obtained this permit previously.

ALJAVAL and his partners are working with the intention to fulfil their objectives in Mexico where they already have 90MW authorized by CRE. Also they are waiting for the authorization of new projects in the next dates by CRE.

The company is founded jointly between the Mexican company ENERGREEN and the Spanish company ALJAVAL.
